Welcome to the Department of Mathematics at UQAM

We are located in downtown Montréal (Canada), within the Science Complex of the university, near the Place-Des-Arts Metro station. The Department is split across the 4th and 5th floors of the President Kennedy (PK) building.

Undegraduate Programs

The Department of Mathematics at UQAM has 45 teachers and receives more than 700 students in its various undergraduate and graduate programs. Our research and teaching activities cover a wide spectrum, including the teaching of mathematics, pure mathematics, statistics, and actuarial and financial mathematics. Graduate Programs

The department offers Master's and Doctorate degrees in mathematics, and many professors in Mathematics Education also supervise students from the Faculty of Education.
